Join DVAA for an inspiring afternoon with Avani Patel and Kazzrie Jaxen in conversation and more on Saturday, October 11 at 2pm at DVAA, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY. In celebration of Avani Patel’s exhibition Rhythmic Allure (on view through October 26), the artist and jazz musician Kazzrie Jaxen will discuss improvisation, color, expression, and the connections between their creative practices. Following the talk, guests are invited upstairs to Krause Recital Hall for a Dreaming in Music session, where Kazzrie will perform on the grand piano as Avani lies beneath it, transforming her paintings into a live, improvised experience.

The Blue Fox Motel hosts an afternoon of swimming, snacking, and celebrating Narrowsburg. The pool is FREE and all proceeds from the bar + poolside menu go to support the Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce.
