On June 7, the Narrowsburg Multi-Generational Park (75 Third Street Narrowsburg, NY) will host a dedication ceremony honoring four local athletes. The baseball field will be renamed the Brock-Hankins-Laraia Memorial Field in memory of Paul Brock, Brett Hankins, and Jay Laraia, volunteer firefighters and former Little Fellows League players who died in a 1979 fire truck accident. The adjacent basketball court will be named the Bruce Denny Memorial Sport Court in honor of the 1969 Narrowsburg graduate and beloved athlete. The ceremony begins at 1 PM with light refreshments. All are welcome.
