Rediscover the work of 19th-century artist Fanny Palmer in American Seasons: The Art of Fanny Palmer, on view November 21–December 30 at Moonriver Interiors in the Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Ave, Narrowsburg, NY. The exhibit features original Currier & Ives lithographs, seasonal displays, and related artifacts, with proceeds from select sales supporting the documentary film in production; a special reception will be held Friday, December 5 from 5:30–7:00 PM.

Ten one-of-a-kind artificial Christmas trees, each uniquely decorated by local artists and businesses, will be on display at this reception. Join DVAA for an inspiring afternoon with Avani Patel and Kazzrie Jaxen in conversation and more on Saturday, October 11 at 2pm at DVAA, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY. In celebration of Avani Patel’s exhibition Rhythmic Allure (on view through October 26), the artist and jazz musician Kazzrie Jaxen will discuss improvisation, color, expression, and the connections between their creative practices. Following the talk, guests are invited upstairs to Krause Recital Hall for a Dreaming in Music session, where Kazzrie will perform on the grand piano as Avani lies beneath it, transforming her paintings into a live, improvised experience.

Enjoy a comforting cup of Ginger Carrot or Chicken Noodle Soup with fresh bread, an apple, and a cookie for $15 ($10 for soup only). Dine at the market or take it to go—all proceeds benefit neighbors in need.
