DVAA produces year-round programs in the visual, performing, literary, and media arts for the public at both its Main Street location and at the Tusten Theatre on Bridge Street. Annual highlights include DVAA's Riverfest street festival and the Big Eddy Film Festival. DVAA’s shop, Signature Gifts, features local and regional artisans and makers.

In addition, DVAA is the Arts Council for Sullivan County and administers two grant programs for artists and arts groups.
